Mumbai is a city defined by its density and its relentless, overlapping layers. In such an environment, the interior of a home must act as an antidote—a place where chaos is filtered through order. MuseLAB has approached this challenge not by building walls, but by installing a system. Their latest apartment project is a radical experiment in "Algebraic Play," where a modular grid is deployed to solve the spatial puzzles of modern urban dwelling.

In the living area, the grid manifests as a light, rhythmic scaffolding of birch plywood and metal. This approach allows the volume of the apartment to remain visually open while providing the high level of functionality required for a family home.
