By examining lighting, layout, acoustics, nature integration, infection control, staff well-being, and adaptability, it argues for hospitals to be conceived as holistic ecosystems of healing rather than neutral backdrops for treatment.
Introduction: From Clinical Efficiency to Human-centered Healing
